The Research Training Group GRK 2833 ‘East Asian Futures’ is organising a lecture by Prof. Wu Lin-Chun this week. The lecture is entitled ‘Engineering China: Modern Infrastructure, Transnational Engineers, and the Governance of the Everyday State’ and will take place on Friday, 17 October 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in seminar room GABF 04/409 on the RUB campus. Wu Lin-Chun is currently a professor of history at National Taiwan Normal University. Her research focuses on modern Chinese history and relations between Taiwan and the United States after the Second World War. She has been a visiting scholar at Columbia University's Weatherhead East Asian Institute and a Fulbright scholar at Harvard University's Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies.
