Don’t have any experience with research activities in China yet? Whether you’re preparing for a research stay in the People’s Republic of China, planning a collaborative project with Chinese partners, or working with Chinese colleagues in an international team, the Junior Researcher Day offers practical support and in-depth information: Experts from the UA Ruhr universities, the DAAD, and the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia will help you get your bearings and make informed decisions. The one-day event will take place in person on April 28, 2026, at the UDE in Duisburg.

C-NET RNR invites all doctoral candidates and postdocs from the three UA-Ruhr universities as well as our partner institutions to participate free of charge, including lunch. Please register by April 19 at the latest and note that space is limited.

The event will be conducted in German, but you are welcome to ask questions in English. The program and further information can be found on the C-NET RNR website:
